La Procuraduría Federal de Protección al Ambiente (PROFEPA) otorga la certificación de Industria Limpia a las empresas que demuestran cumplir satisfactoriamente los requerimientos legales en materia de medio ambiente.
El proceso de certificación consiste en la revisión sistemática y exhaustiva a la empresa en sus procedimientos y prácticas, con la finalidad de comprobar el grado de cumplimiento de los aspectos normados en materia ambiental.
El Programa Nacional de Auditoría Ambiental -al que se afilian voluntariamente las empresas- no sólo tiene la finalidad de ayudar a garantizar el cumplimiento efectivo de la legislación, sino que hace más eficientes los procesos productivos de la empresa, reduciendo los consumos de agua, energía y la generación de residuos.
Desde noviembre de 1998 nuestra Planta inició su participación en el Programa Nacional de Auditoría Ambiental de la PROFEPA. Tras el cumplimiento de un programa de obras y actividades, recibió su primer certificado de Industria Limpia en el año 2000.
A partir de 2002, con procesos de recertificación cada dos años, Polaquimia cumple en 2016 siete refrendos consecutivos, que acreditan nuestro desempeño ambiental y competitividad.
The Federal Attorney for Environmental Protection (PROFEPA) gives the Clean Industry Certification to the companies that demonstrate satisfactory compliance with the legal requirements in the field of environment.
The certification process consists in the systematic review and thoroughly to the company in its procedures and practices, with the purpose of checking the degree of compliance of the aspects regulated in environmental matters.
The National Program of Environmental Audit - to which the companies affiliate voluntarily - not only for the purpose of helping to guarantee the effective fulfillment of regulations, but it makes the productive processes of the company more efficient, reducing the water consumption, energy and the generation of residues.
Since November 1998 our Industrial Plant started its participation in the National Program for Environmental Auditing of the PROFEPA. Following the implementation of a program of works and activities, received its first Certificate of Clean Industry.
